A Song without Words

In my class there is a photo conference where students post pictures of themselves, their families, their pets and places they have visited. This serves in a very healthy manner to increase the connections between and among the students in an online classroom as all of them can share the view. One student who has been deployed five times to Afghanistan sent a series of pictures which I call "A Song Without Words." The power of the images is compelling to me and I would like to share them with you. The young man has given me permission to do this. I will not put any text to the pictures, but let you do that yourself in your heart:

Beautiful!

Now I could create some songs so long as singing is not involved...

Dear Chago,

Reading your comment is just like reading a haiku. Thank you very much for your sensitive reply. Sparky
